Adelaide Hills and City
We absolutely love Adelaide! Our city has such a friendly vibe, and the laid-back lifestyle is so inviting. One of the things I enjoy most about Adelaide are the festivals and events that take place throughout the year. If you're in town, be sure to do the Adelaide Oval Roof Climb, the views of Adelaide's skyline are absolutely stunning.
Don't forget to explore the Riverbank precinct and take a stroll down the cultural boulevard of North Terrace. For lunch, I highly recommend heading to the Adelaide Central Market or Chinatown. If you're looking to escape the the city, why not head for the Adelaide Hills. Journey to the top of Mount Lofty, and take in the stunning views. Hahndorf is a charming German inspired town that has a delightful old-world feel to it. If you have a sweet tooth, be sure to visit Melba's Chocolate Factory in Woodside for some delicious treats. And of course, you can't visit the Adelaide Hills without sampling some of the region's premium cool-climate wines. There's so much to see and do in Adelaide, you'll never want to leave! |

Yesterday was amazing. We didn't know how much Adelaide had to offer. We did a tour around the city and then Paul dropped us off to the Central Markets for a wander around and lunch. It was unbelievable. We were treated to a crazy mint tea pouring exhibition at Le Souk before tucking into a bowl of brown lentil and carrot soup. Magic! We will be telling all our foodie friends back home about this place. |
