Unforseen Circumstances
Adelaide Bus and Coach SA will not be liable for failure or delay in performing services due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, road closures, accidents, industrial action, vehicle breakdown, or government restrictions.
Breakdowns / Substitute Vehicles
In the event of a vehicle breakdown or unforeseen issue, Adelaide Bus and Coach SA reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of similar capacity and standard or arrange alternative transport. No refunds will be provided where reasonable alternative arrangements are made.
Delays and Traffic
Adelaide Bus and Coach SA is not liable for delays caused by traffic conditions, roadworks, accidents, or other factors beyond its control. Clients should allow adequate travel time when planning their itinerary.
Pricing
Adelaide Bus and Coach reserves the right to amend prices or itinerary (i.e.- alter travel routes or itinerary) due to road or weather conditions.
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and include GST.
Please note: A temporary fuel surcharge may be included in your quote while fuel prices remain unusually high. This surcharge will be listed separately from you transport cost for full transparency. If fuel prices return to previous levels before your booking date, the surcharge will be removed.
A booking is not confirmed unless confirmation has been received via email.
All cancellation requests must be sent via email.
All reservations for a transfer include 10 minutes' grace, after which a waiting time charge applies. The exact amount varies with the type of vehicle you have requested. The 13 passenger buses are A$100 per hour, the 24 passenger buses are A$120 per hour, the midi coaches are $140 per hour, and 53, 57, 59 passenger coaches are A$150 per hour or part thereof.
If you have pre-paid for a service for a particular time frame or distance, and that time or distance is exceeded, the driver will ask for payment of the extra service provided.
Itinerary Changes by Client
Any changes to the confirmed itinerary must be requested in writing and may incur additional charges. Changes are subject to availability.
Passenger Conduct and Refusal of Service
Adelaide Bus and Coach SA reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a charter without refund if passengers engage in unsafe, abusive, or unlawful behaviour.
Safety
Passengers are required to wear a seatbelt at all times and are not permitted to stand in or walk up and down the aisle during travel; to engage in conversation with the driver during travel, or to place any object or part of their body outside the vehicle at any time. Drivers are authorised to ask any passenger refusing to adhere to the conditions below to exit the vehicle at any time.
Smoking / Vaping / Alcohol
Smoking, vaping and the consumption of alcohol on board a bus or coach is illegal and not permitted on board any Adelaide Bus and Coach SA vehicle. Any fines incurred with smoking, vaping or the consumption of alcohol will be paid by the responsible person.
Cleaning & Damages:
A $110 cleaning fee will be paid in full by the responsible person, for each incident that results in the vehicle being soiled. Repair costs incurred for any incident of vandalism by passengers will be paid in full by the responsible person.
Liability
Adelaide Bus and Coach SA accepts no responsibility for the loss of, or damage to personal belongings, including luggage, during travel. Adelaide Bus and Coach SA accepts no responsibility for any injury sustained due to any individual’s irresponsible behaviour.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.

Lost Property
If you have lost items on the bus, please contact our office immediately. Please be aware that we have multiple buses in our fleet that are constantly moving throughout Adelaide during the day/night. In order for us to try and locate your item we need accurate information – if possible please provide the following details:
Our drivers bring in items they find on the bus whenever they head to the depot - which can be a few days after your transfer.

- 21 days of your charter date, a 25% cancellation fee may be incurred.
- 10 days of your charter date, a 50% cancellation fee may be incurred.
- 7 days of your charter date, the full charter fee will be forfeited.
